I grew up in a family of tradespeople. I've worked in the industry — from
administration all the way through to Assistant Project Manager in under a
year. I've done the estimating, the contract administration, and I've run my
own estimating business. I know the language, the culture, and what a day on
site actually looks like.

So when I started working at Job Ripple, I saw something that stuck with me.
People would come to me looking for work — and many of them needed more than a
job lead. They needed someone to help them put their experience on paper in a
way that actually represented who they were and what they could do. I was
writing resumes while looking for work myself. I saw the gap between what
tradies needed and what the industry was offering them: generic resume writers
who'd never set foot on a job site and recruiters who didn't bridge that
knowledge gap.

On top of that, I saw how many tradies were being left behind — limited knowledge
about how to navigate the job market, unfamiliar with the technology required
to even complete an online application, and no one in their corner who
genuinely understood their world.
